    Jennie from England : … Brilliant but bizarre; nice titles to chapters; a modern Aesop’s Fables; beautiful script; written by an odd-minded philosopher; the technical details of seamanship are surreal; a cross between Hans Christian Anderson and The Magic Roundabout.

    Such a delightfully different quirky book. It leaves the reader to make of it what he/she wants. I found myself putting this book down after each individual gift, so that I could ponder about it before proceeding on to the next chapter. Congratulations John – this is a book that must be shared.
